Team description

The Smithtown Kickers / Long Island Slammers Girls 2014 ECRL team has grown together from the intramural program in Smithtown, they started playing travel soccer as the Smithtown Phoenix in 2022 and have played locally in the LIJSL, EDP, and pre-ECNL leagues the past 4 years, they have traveled to the Bahamas to play local teams in a tournament there, as well as attending tournaments in NY, NJ, PA, and most recently Jefferson Cup in Virginia. The girls are a group of positive players that have meshed well together as a unit. This spring the team competed in the LIJSL Elite Club Alliance League, and defeated some of the toughest competition on Long Island including Rockville Centre, Northport, and Atlantic United to become the champions of the LIJSL ECAL and obtain the bit to compete in the Iber Cup. The team is very excited to compete on the international stage.
